Commercial Telemarketer
Purpose
As a local Telesales Executive, you will play a crucial role in our growth strategy by identifying and engaging with SME businesses within the Harrogate area. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate contact with potential clients to gather their insurance information and understand their insurance needs. This information will be crucial for our local insurance brokers to provide bespoke insurance advice and solutions.
We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, self-motivated, driven and delivers excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and provide potential solutions to the company and reduce costs.
- Delivering good outcomes for customers and putting the customer’s interests first.
- Ensure the customer understands what we sell and support the customer in anyway you can.
- Prospecting clients via inbound and outbound calls.
- Searching for local business close to branches.
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements.
- Record the customers personal information accurately on the database.
- Go the “extra mile” to meet quote targets.

Experience
- Previous sales experience via telephone or face to face.
Qualifications
- GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 including English and Maths.
